Job Description

The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to create a technical synergy that will modernize and create efficiency in warfighter training? As an ISSO, you know the importance of ensuring applications, simulators, and operational systems work together in a secure manner. You’re eager to apply your consulting experience and knowledge of military operations to develop creative solutions. That knowledge is key when it comes to integrating DoD and commercial technologies that enable joint, coalition, multinational, and bilateral training in a blended live and synthetic training environment supporting the client. We’re looking for network engineers who can use their skills to create secure, open, and automated architectures that are sustainable, scalable, extensible, and adaptable to support a large variety of warfighter training use cases.

On our team, you’ll design, develop, and implement solutions for system administration projects across functions or between organizations that’ll directly impact local and large-scale warfighter training. Using IEEE systems engineering principles and Agile Framework, you’ll work alongside software development engineers to integrate, automate, and enhance aircraft simulators, threat simulators, Joint Fires simulators, physics-based models, and other tools. You’ll use tools like Docker, Git, Zero Trust, or AWS to plan, organize, and conduct integration projects that meet design specifications and standards from inception to completion.

At Booz Allen, you’ll use your network engineering skills to transform warfighter training for large-scale military operations against current and future generation adversaries. Our team designs systems, develops and integrates software, and integrates DoD and commercial data transport, including DoD training networks, 5G, and StarLink. We integrate best-of-breed capabilities from industry and service LVC programs, including Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE), Live Mission Operations Capability (LMOC), Synthetic Training Environment (STE), JLVC, and other programs that enable blended live and synthetic training. We enhance simulations with classified threat databases based on validated source intel data. We deploy cybersecurity solutions to support multiple levels of security across numerous networks and systems. With opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing and collaborating as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. Work with us as we integrate new solutions for warfighter training.

Join us. The world can’t wait.
