Information Systems Security Analyst (Hybrid)

Department Overview

The Bureau of the Comptroller and Global Financial Services (CGFS), Department of State (DoS), Charleston, SC requires the contractor to provide Business Process Analyst (BPA) services in the Information Systems Security Office (ISSO). ISSO is responsible for the development and implementation of the information systems security program and the integrity and availability of all DoS networks at CGFS.

Minimum Requirements

• Perform systems design
• Knowledge of and experience on Windows 10 or more recent elaborations workstation in a Windows Network environment
• Experience with PC workstation operations including word processing, spreadsheets, electronic mail, and Windows 10 or more recent elaborations internals such as Registry
• Four-year degree from an accredited university or college in computer science or a related field.
• Experience and education or certifications may be substituted for education or degree type
• Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information clearly (orally and written)

• Implementing controls, processes, and software

• Resolve systemand production issues
• Six years' experience with computer systems analysis or design.
• Assessing new or modified technical capabilities for information technology operations

Job Responsibilities

• Equipment encryption
• Customer Service - walk-in, telephonic, Teams Chat, email
• Creation, maintenance, and distribution of Peripheral Devices
• User account and email creation; access permissions
• PIV exclusions list maintenance
• Support internal and external access management audits
• Creation and maintenance of users for Financial Applications
• Storing and distribution of the ClassNet Thick Client Hard drives

Software Systems Utilized

• Windows 10 system internals
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Security Clearance Requirement

All personnel provided under this task order must be able to either posses or obtain a security clearance of Top Secret, to be issued by Department of State, Diplomatic Security.

Work Schedule

The employee will work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with a non-compensated 45-minute lunch (See your Project Manager for work schedule and department policies). Additional hours may be required and must be authorized by your Project Manager and DoS Management.This is a hybrid position with 3 days teleworking and 2 days on-site.
