Infection Preventionist-Part Time Ahuja

The Infection Preventionist will work under the direction of the Infection Control Manager to Perform infection surveillance, analysis, interpretation and reporting of hospital acquired infections Observe and evaluate patient care practices.Actively participate in infection reduction initiatives in order to prevent and reduce HAIs, Assist in policy/procedure formation and review, Participate in exposure follow up and infection control risk assessment completion, Conduct education and ongoing in service programs to all members of the health care team, Assure compliance with policy and procedure to ensure standards that meet TJC, OSHA, CMS, ODH, CDC recommendations and requirements, Maintain knowledge of current guidelines, regulations and best practices relating to infection prevention, Performs NHSN reporting to meet CMS requirements, Active membership in APIC.

Bachelor Degree 3 plus years of experience CBIC preferred, active RN license preferred
