Part-time 0.6FTE role POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for the overall management of all the Infection Control Program at each campus. Primary Job Duties

• Effectively develops infection prevention plans according to the current infection control protocols.
• Assigns responsibility for direct resident care to the nursing staff and ensures that the care is rendered according to the facility’s policies and procedures
• Directs the overall management of the infection control program at each campus location
• Serves as a resource to the clinical team with regards to infection control JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Experience: Long Term Care plus completion of infection preventionist certification Licensure: State of Illinois licensure
• Ensures that the resident’s care plan correctly depict the resident’s condition and ensures that the plan of care is followed for each resident
