Job Description
Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.
Position Overview
Participates in the UHS Hospitals Infection Prevention and Control program, which includes prevention, surveillance and control of infections. Assists the hospital departments in executing responsibilities in infection prevention and patient safety.
Position Requirements
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
Associate’s in Applied Science in Nursing with 5 years of clinical experience or Infection Prevention experience.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing with 3 years of clinical experience or Infection Prevention experience.
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
New York State Registered Nurse or eligible
Preferred:
Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC)
