Job Description
Position Description:

One of our clients in Elk Grove Village, Illinois is hiring immediately PM shift 12 hours. Weekly Pay after 1st week worked with benefits after 400 hours worked

POSITION SUMMARY
Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety
  • Wears and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Follows plant safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Know emergency procedures and what to do in the event of power outages, machine failures, workplace injuries, etc.
  • Understand and identifies Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
  • Informs supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediately.

DUTIES

  • Salary: $25.00 - $37.00 per hour
  • Cleaning and/or lubricating of shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
  • Performs the following type of maintenance activities: Advanced electrical work, Facility repairs Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Pump repairs and maintenance, Basic to advanced HVAC, Masonry, Carpentry & Plumbing
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Advanced Electrical ability
  • Advanced Computer skills
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic
  • Advanced Programming
  • Testing and visually inspects machinery and equipment.
  • Installing and repairing of electrical apparatus as determined by training and skill set of technician
  • Trouble shooting machinery and equipment.
  • Basic to Advanced PLC
  • Must be able to work 5:45pm-6:15am
  • Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in a technical field is required.
  • EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND/OR LICENSING/CERTIFICATION
  • Follow plant quality practices including Good Manufacturing Practices, or GMPs QUALIFICATIONS
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Dismantling of defective machines and equipment and installation of new or repaired parts
