Job Summary

Industrial Designer for immediate direct hire need just outside of Foxboro, MA. Seeking knowledgeable, detail oriented and enthusiastic individual to put their degree and co-op experience to work! The right person will have a passion for Industrial design and have the ability to create CAD drawings from customer specifications and follow them through to product completion.

Bachelor's degree in technical field, preferably in Mechanical, Packaging, or Manufacturing Engineering along with experience preferably in plastics packaging. Responsibilities

• QUALIFICATIONS
• Create standard work (SOC)
• Acts as the Project Manager ("voice to the customer")
• 2 years related experience preferably in packaging manufacturing related to plastics
• Assists with new material evaluations, process and mold development programs that
• Follow a product development process using an engineering methodology
• Creates CAD drawings used for customer specification and sign-off
• Publishes timelines using MS Project or equivalent discipline
• Computer skills - MS office, AutoCAD, Solid Works, ArtiosCAD
• Develops Quality control plan and reviews with the operations team
• Manage development requests from conception to commercialization
• Works closely with engineering peers and owns the design and package development
• Bachelor's degree in technical field, preferably in Mechanical, Packaging, or Manufacturing Engineering.
