As a Consumer Advocate with ASI/GE Appliances, you will assist inbound consumers by advocating for a satisfactory resolution to escalated concerns within internal departments. How You'll Create Possibilities
We offer a base rate of $17.00/hour+ weekly incentives based on your quality scores- paid weekly.

Training requires a 10-week full-time shift Monday-Friday 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM (CST).
After training, you can expect to work an 8-hour shift between the business hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (CST), Monday through Friday.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • One year of call center experience.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer applications.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Moderate to advanced computer/technical skills.
  • Two years of escalated customer service experience.
  • Ability to handle high-volume calls.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Gather substantial information from various resources and surface concerns with outlined suggested resolutions to the Team Leader or Team Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Research and review information given to resolve inconsistencies in procedures.
  • Create an outstanding, quality service experience for the GE Appliance consumer, advocating with multiple internal departments on their behalf for reasonable and satisfactory resolution.
  • Meet all work schedule demands and obligations with compliance and integrity according to values, processes, and policies.
  • Interact and coordinate with all necessary stakeholders to successfully resolve consumer issues, i.e., zones, dispatchers, technicians, etc.
  • Complete consumer reviews for satisfaction prior to case closure.
  • Take ownership in resolving GE Appliances' customer concerns using proper data management, capturing all the facts, and following the outlined steps to resolve consumer issues, and responding to all consumer letters of inquiry.
  • Negotiate and implement concessions; find creative solutions that are in the best interest of the consumers, customers, and GE Appliances.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work from home environment.
  • Follow up with customers using phone, email, or text to resolve appliance related concerns and close out cases with appropriate actions taken.

  • A local internet provider: no Satellite, Pre-paid, or DSL internet connections allowed due to security issues.
  • Dedicated work area that is quiet and spacious enough for ASI-provided equipment (i.e., dual monitors, keyboard, mouse, cords, and an ethernet cord).
