Job Description

Synergi is looking for a self-motivated, organized individual with strong critical thinking skills to join the Synergi CARES Employee Retention Tax Credit Team as a Payroll Impact Analysis Data Analyst. This position reports to the Payroll Impact Analysis Director and works to analyze client-provided raw data. This position involves continuous review of the client pipeline and work in process, which relies on strong organization and prioritization skills to manage workload. The role also involves the collection and critical review of client data, so the ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving. The ideal candidate will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, have keen attention to detail, and possess a drive to deliver high quality work. Given that the role requires data analysis and manipulation, strong Excel skills are required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review client data for consistency and completeness, contacting the client for additional information, if needed.
  • Management of individual pipeline of clients and key deliverables.
  • Work with Payroll Impact Analysis Client Specialists to obtain client data and determine if it is usable.
  • Keep track of all progress in the process as it is completed.
  • Ensure timely completion of each assignment.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Payroll Impact Analysis Team, as well as other Synergi teams, ensuring clear lines of communication between all parties to get the information.

Skill Requirements:

  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize workload based on different factors.
  • Critical and analytical thinker.
  • Time management skills -effectively follow up with clients in a timely manner.
  • Comfortable with process change and on-the-job learning.
  • Good oral and written communication skills – role involves frequent communication with key client personnel, sometimes including C-Suite.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate and function as a member of a team.
  • Personal accountability – ability to meet deadlines and complete projects on time. Manage your own schedule and coordinate with leadership, coworkers, and clients.
  • Must possess a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Synergi leadership on workload capacity and ability to meet expectations.

Preferred but not Required:

  • Project Management experience.
  • Knowledge of tax credits.
  • Knowledge of, or experience with, accounting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Schedule:Exempt level position.Schedule is Monday to Friday with 40 hours per week.
