Description:

An Opportunity to Join our Remarkable CareImaging Support Specialistin theRadiology Support Department awaits YOU!!!!

What you will do:
  • Creating film jackets, filing reports and films, preparing out-going and incoming films, loading alternators, obtaining patients from central registration and escorting them to appropriate areas for testing.
  • Monitoring PACS database, merging and deleting images as necessary, locating and providing priors for radiologists.
  • Processing and distribution of radiology reports, answering phones, purging jackets/films, obtaining films from the warehouse, and stocking of supplies.
  • Assisting patients with filling out forms and changing into gowns.
  • Performs clerical duties such as processing requisitions, scanning documents into PACS (picture archiving and communication system) editing information in PACS, digitizing films into PACS, pushing images from 3rd party systems into PACS system, creating, exporting and importing of images on CD and DVD for patient and physician use, resolving QA issues in PACS.

What you will need:

  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • High School Diplomaor equivalent required.
  • Previous hospital experience preferred.
  • Computer skills required.
