Job Description

Under general guidance of the Radiologic Technologist, this position requires assisting the technical staff with direct and indirect patient care responsibilities involved in the performance of imaging studies.


● SITE(S) ● Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital


MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED — High School Or Equivalent (GED)


MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ● Entry Level


LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED


  • Current Basic Life Support and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or the ability to obtain certification within 6 weeks of hire.
  • Preferred but not required: o Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) o Enrolled in a School of Radiologic Technology


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED


  • Ability to read, write, speak, hear, and comprehend the English language.
  • Ability to use oxygen equipment


PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES


  • Transports patients, specimens, and equipment within the hospital in a safe and professional manner.
  • Multifaceted communication under a variety of emotional situations, for all patients throughout the life span.


PATIENTS SERVED ● Neonate, Infant, Child, Adolescence, Adult and Geriatric.
