Roles & Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support our park through other duties as assigned by your manager
• Maintenance of park restroom facilities
• Maintain records on all work completed and safety inspections
• Inspects equipment for conformance with operational standards
• Sweep park midways and empty trash receptacles
• Maintains all working areas, are safe and clean at all times
• Accountable for tools and materials
• Welcome guests with a smile and positive attitude!

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age on the date of applying
• Must be able to speak and read the English language
• Must work well with other team members and be able to interact with our guests in a fast paced environment
• Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Idlewild and SoakZone guidelines
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shift

Working Conditions

• Physical requirements would include ability to stand (for up to five hours at a time), walk long distances within the park, bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity; and the ability to carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds without assistance on a regular basis
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to work at least two (2) weekends per month from June through August
• Team Members are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme heat, humidity, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.
• Must be able to work at least three (3) days per week and at least 24 hours per week from June through August (Shifts are available starting in April and continue through October.)
