Job Description
Overview
The hotel business functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All Team Members must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move Team Members from their accustomed shift as business demands change. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure OSHA and ADA policies are adhered to manage turndown service, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries, etc.
  • Work closely with all other departments Inspect rooms daily Purchase linens and housekeeping supplies
  • Ensure proper staffing levels for customer service goals.
  • Promote an atmosphere that ensures customer and associate satisfaction.
  • Develop and recommend the budget, labor cost plans, and objectives and manages within those approved plans maintain inspection program.
  • Short and long-term planning and management of the hotel's Housekeeping operation.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and the ability to deal effectively with department heads, guests, and team members.
  • Weekly walk-troughs, documented inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and support facilities with the General Manager.
  • Follow all safety and security policies and procedures
  • Follow Hyatt Global care and cleanliness commitment as Ambassador to the GBAC accreditation program.
  • Stay current on the latest housekeeping and laundry technology
  • Staff training, inter- department communications, and staff scheduling.
  • Vendor relations and ensuring proper pricing, delivery, and maintenance
  • Responsible for all duties of the housekeeping operation and cleanliness levels in all areas of the property.

Qualifications
  • Excellent organization and management skills, effective communication skills, and ability to function well in pressure situations.
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to handle difficult situations
  • Fully Bilingual a Must(Spanish/English)
  • Prior experience in the position o similar.
  • Guest-focused personality
  • Bachelor’s degree Preferred.
  • Self-starting individual
