Bilingual Humanitarian Aid Coordinator
Location:Greater NYC Area
** MUST BE BILINGUAL AND AVAILABLE FOR AT LEAST 1 WEEKEND SHIFT EACH WEEK**

**ENTRY LEVEL JOB, BUT Must be Fluent Bilingual in BOTH English & Spanish****
Shift Details:8 Hours / Day | **Full Time & Part Time Positions Available**
All available shifts include at least one weekend day. We have shifts that start at 6:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., or 10:30 p.m. Shift availability and times are subject to change.
Benefits (Full Time Workers):Medical, Dental, 401k, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, etc. (with company contribution)
Pay Rate (LOCAL ONLY):$21-$22 per hour
Overview:We are providing services in New York to the migrant population. As a Bilingual Migrant Humanitarian Aid Coordinator, you will assist guests, patients, clients, and staff members at our designated sites.This assignment is currently expected to last for 6 months to 1 year.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Distribute meals, personal hygiene items, and other necessary items.
- Respect and maintain the confidentiality of information.
- Utilizes appropriate supplies with minimal waste.
- Strive to maintain a positive work environment.
- Distribute mail and flyers.
- Clean up after meal distribution and organize leftover food supplies.
- Assist guest, patients, and clients with various appointments.
- Assist guests, patients, and clients through the intake and discharge processes.
- Organize and store mail for guests.
- Greet guests, patients, clients, and staff members as they enter our locations.
- Direct guests, patients, clients, and staff members to the correct resources and escort when necessary.
- Register guests into our computer systems.
- Assist with scheduling travel and relocation arrangements for guests, patients, and clients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Scan the QR code on the guest’s badge as they enter and leave the facility and bring any flagged guests to HERRC or Supervisor’s attention, in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Entry Level Welcome!
- General computer knowledge and skills (data entry is a plus).
- Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask.
- Must be Fluent Bilingual in English & Spanish****
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use new computer systems.
