Job Description
These positions may be eligible for varying levels of telework. Amount of telework, if any, will be determined by job scope, candidate location, and other factors related to the positions.
Provide comprehensive support in the implementation and maintenance of human resources programs within a centralized human resource function or in support of an operations organization.
Under general supervision, provide administrative support services in the area of Benefits, Compensation, HR Operations, Staffing, HR Policy/Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Talent Management/Education Outreach and/or Diversity/EEO programs. Those support services include, but are not limited to:
Providing counsel, policy interpretation and administrative services for the consistent maintenance, operation and improvement of all HR site wide programs and practices.
  • Resolve job-related employee problems and concerns
  • Ensure consistency in the application of policies and practices that relate to HR
  • Provide HR operations support to individual organizations in such areas as staffing, merit plans, benefits administration, employee communications, constructive discipline, and professional development.
Coordinate activities in support of the compensation management programs for exempt and nonexempt employees
Coordinate activities in support of the employee benefits program and the maintenance of complete and accurate personnel data records.
Organize and conduct the recruiting, screening and selecting process for qualified professional, nonexempt and temporary personnel as needed to meet site objectives.
Develop HR programs and special projects that empower individuals to reach their full potential in support of the SRS mission.
Act as point of contact for employee education program information.
Participate in Special Projects.
Perform job analyses, write job specifications and descriptions.

Basic Education Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or other equivalent State Credential
Other Required Qualifications
Must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance, if required.
Preferred Qualifications
College degree preferred.
Possess strong personal computer skills utilizing any number of generally accepted/available software applications to perform word processing, database management, spreadsheet, and graphics functions.
