Compensation

$55,000 to $60,000 depending on exprience


The role of a Human Resources Assistant can provide you with the:

  • Experience using basic Office Suite computer and workforce management programs
  • Knowledge of industry leading people and human resource information systems
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local employment law


As a Human Resources Assistant, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests & team members
  • Support the training needs of the company’s workforce and be an advocate for continuous learning
  • Be an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices
  • All other duties based on business needs
  • Act as an open door by listening to team members and collaborating with appropriate leaders to take action as needed
  • Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to Human Resources, to solve issues for the guest & team member, improving their experience
  • Work with our wellness partner to promote participation in Coffee Cup Wellness
  • Deliver on all Human Resources operational and cyclical programs
  • Execute intentional recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire talent with the right skills and experiences to best serve their guest
  • Work with your HR leader to anticipate and address specific talent and staffing needs for each area of the business; this includes understanding guests’ needs and ensuring the right mix of experience, leadership capabilities and product enthusiasm to deliver the right experience
  • Engage with guests & team members a genuine way, which includes asking questions to better understand their specific needs
  • Oversee HR events
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance

Education, Training & Certification

  • High School – Required
  • Leadership experience – 2 years preferred
  • Human Resources – 2 years required
  • Retail experience – 1- 2 years Preferred
  • College - Required
  • Recruiting Experience - 1 to 2 years required
