Vehicle Engineering Attribute Engineers deliver customer centric vehicle performance. The Human Factors team ensures that all physical aspects of the static vehicle experience fully meet customer expectations. We are seeking a passionate, purposeful and customer centric leader to join our team as a Human Factors Manager.


Responsibilities
  • Interface with Program Teams and Partners to ensure alignment and consistent application of deliverables

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, MS required
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to remain resilient in times of ambiguity and change
  • Develop, evolve and enhance Ford’s Human Factors product development process, including storage and device charging
  • Experience working with Experience, Marketing teams and Studio teams in exploratory spaces
  • Gather lessons learned and drive continuous improvement into the global human factors process
  • Experience in Ergonomics and Human Factors preferred
  • Oversee Optical Lab testing, processes, and facilities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
  • Take transformative customer experiences, translate those experiences to engineering parameters and ensure the intent is accomplished in the design proposals.
  • Own the processes and requirements for Human Factors teams globally
