Job Description
The Role


We are on the lookout for an organized HR, Time and Attendance Administrator to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support our Payroll and HR department with responsibilities ranging from reviewing timecards and maintaining employee schedules to recordkeeping and preparing reports for annual reviews. You will work closely with multiple departments to ensure accurate time, attendance and performance data for 100+ employees. You are detail oriented, organized, able to multitask and work independently in a time-sensitive environment.

What You’ll Do


Time and Attendance


  • Maintain employee schedules by creating, assigning and updating shift templates as production demand requires.
  • Work closely with the HR department to appropriately code and track leave: medical, personal, parental, FMLA etc
  • Maintain time off policies and accruals. Review and process time off requests.
  • Review and approve timeclock entries. Review and resolve time card exceptions prior to the biweekly processing of payroll.
  • Respond to inquiries related to time and attendance


Recordkeeping and Reporting


  • Track performance and attendance metrics for annual employee reviews
  • Maintain organized employee personnel and performance files
  • Generate and distribute daily attendance and performance reports to appropriate departments


Other Responsibilities As Needed


  • Assist with recruiting by creating and managing job postings, reviewing candidates and scheduling interviews with department managers
  • Assist the accounting team with month-end payroll related entries
  • Assist with onboarding by adding new employees' information to company payroll and other internal systems


Skills And Abilities


  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office and GoogleSuite applications
  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems within scope of position and to escalate when needed.
  • Collaborate with and support teammates in maintaining a positive work relationship
  • Confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records
  • Prioritizes workload, meets deadlines
