Who We’re Looking For


Toyota’s Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated HR Investigations Analyst. This role is based out of Toyota Motors Manufacturing Mississippi (TMMMS).


The primary responsibility of this role is to be responsible for handling workplace investigations at TMMMS as a primary investigator for level 1 and some level 2 cases, depending on the complexity of the case. This investigator will use standard practices and team processes to conduct investigations that are thorough, impartial, and timely.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Conducting level 1 and some level 2 workplace investigations.
  • Related tasks to HR Investigations include performing initial intake interviews, analyzing and determining allegation(s) that may violate company policy, creating an investigation plan, conducting interviews, gathering additional data from relevant sources (i.e., video, emails, and message history), determining appropriate findings, and making corrective action recommendations.
  • The HR Investigations Analyst must be able to effectively communicate information about their investigation process and findings both in writing and verbally.
  • This person will support team projects, as well as participate in HR-related meetings, and provide other support as needed.
  • Gain a thorough knowledge of the HR Case Management System and respond to routine user inquiries and participate in system testing.
  • When applicable, the investigator will draft appropriate corrective actions that are consistent with similar cases.
  • Gather data from multiple sources to perform analytics and analysis in coordination with case investigations and team projects.


What You Bring


  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher or equivalent professional work experience).
  • Self-motivated with strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and effectively work with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.


Added bonus if you have


  • Experience with data analysis.
  • HR experience and/or investigations experience.
  • Experience using a whistleblower or investigation tracking system (such as Navex or HR Case Management System).
  • HR experience in manufacturing.
