Job Description
This Human Resources position will be a partnership with the Safety & Quality department in the Forest City, NC facility.


The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible to maintain, support and enhance the organization's talent, culture and functional excellence, while building a strong partnership with the business leaders. They will have responsibility to assist in the execution of HR processes, policies and programs, working closely and taking direction from the Human Resources Manager.

  • Cross-train with safety/quality to provide administrative support, perform quality checks/audits when needed
  • Assist in the Performance Management Process
  • Support the administration of Total Rewards, Compensation and Benefit programs
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development from a four-year college preferred; or two plus years related experience and / or training in a large manufacturing organization; or equivalent combination of the two.
  • Prepare reports as requested by leadership teams
  • Assist with special projects
  • Organize, maintain and update employee files including HRIS systems
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills.
  • Assist in the Talent Acquisition, Onboarding and Orientation Processes following all Federal, Local and Company requirements
  • Willing to wear multiple hats and also provide support for safety/quality.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs, and develop solutions and/or options.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
  • Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
