Job Description

Title: Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Kennewick, WA

Relocation: Assistance available

Reports to: Human Resource Director


Role Overview:

Korn Ferry has partnered with a manufacturing organization on their search for an HR Partner in the Kennewick area. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual looking to be a true Business Partner and provide HR support, guidance and advice on a variety of HR functions with a heavy emphasis on people programs. This HR Partner will support both Production and Warehouse employee populations. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Deploys employee benefits, performance management, talent acquisition, learning and development in line with organization needs
  • Oversee consistency and accuracy of HR KPI as well as actions to ensure improvement trend
  • Lead the entire employee talent process
  • Investigate and oversee all corporate employee relations issues and/or complaints
  • Provide support to a variety of HR initiatives and leadership development and organizational development needs across a corporate client group
  • Develops and implements training plans to support team member development including compliance, technical skills, and leadership skills. Ensures high quality training delivery and training tracking per company standards.
  • Understands managed population and works closely with all functions to drive organizational capability; knows the strengths and weakness of the team; assesses talent and recommends effective development plans
  • Work closely with labor union and provides labor relations counsel with responsibility for grievance administration and resolving issues
  • Serve as subject matter expert on all HR functions including but not limited to talent development, compensation, benefits, employee relations, etc.
  • Additional duties as necessary
  • Oversees the performance management process through partnerships with management and leadership to develop Succession Planning and Talent Management initiatives
  • Drive the continuous improvement agenda with focus on engagement & welfare activities, maximizing productivity, evolving HR responsibilities, and building leadership capability
  • Serve as a resource to managers and employees to address performance issues and organizational and structural changes
  • Manage and administer benefit, health & welfare plans and initiatives


Requirements:

  • Proven success consulting with site leaders and leading talent programs
  • Manufacturing, production, multisite retail, or distribution industry experience is a must
  • Minimum of 4 years of generalist experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
