Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant Jobs

BSG is the premier leader in contracted housekeeping, laundry, and dietary services to medical and long-term health care facilities. We are looking for Housekeepers and Laundry Attendants.
The role of our Housekeepers and Laundry Attendants is described in detail below and must be performed in a manner that sufficiently meets client satisfaction. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by BSG Maintenance location based on client requirements and business needs.
Housekeeping

• Trash disposal, mopping & emptying wastebaskets.
• Comply with the Residents' Rights and Community Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, bathrooms & resident living/dining areas.
• Must be trustworthy & adhere to confidentiality concerning residents' health conditions.
• Maintain a professional relationship with co-workers & other staff.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Laundry

• Collect, support, and distribute laundry throughout the facility
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Ensure collected laundry is ready for pick-up to the laundry processing center.
• Comply with patient rights and hospital policies/procedures.
• Audit laundry when returned from the laundry distribution center.

Shifts Available

• AM Shifts
• Part Time // 25-40 hrs per week

• Paid - On The Job Paid Training

Qualifications

• Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor, and other employees.
• Must be prompt and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Flexibility & ability to adapt to changing needs each day.
• Adaptability to perform a variety of duties and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
