Detail-Oriented Housekeeping Position in Assisted Living

As a Housekeeping Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of our assisted living facility.

Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To)

• Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and residents' personal items.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up common areas for events and activities.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in resident rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces.
• Regularly inspect and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring they are stocked with essential supplies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free environment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks.
• Understanding of and respect for the privacy and dignity of residents.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment.
