Housekeeper Jobs

The Housekeeper’s responsibilities include cleaning common areas and resident rooms to ensure sanitary, attractive and orderly conditions to ensure residents feel at home. A great deal of resident and family interaction is required so Housekeeper must have tact, sensitivity, and be very professional. Experience in housekeeping preferred.

Typical duties include: sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors vacuum clean carpets, rugs dust and polish furniture and fittings empty and clean trash containers dispose of trash in a sanitary manner clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers wipe down glass surfaces make up beds and change linens as required tidy up rooms wash windows as scheduled operate mechanized cleaning equipment maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
• High school degree or equivalent is preferred.
