Hotel Laundry Attendant Jobs

Our team is growing! The Courtyard by Marriott in Ewing, NJ is seeking a Laundry Attendant!

Laundry Attendants perform a variety of laundry duties to provide a constant supply of fresh, clean and sanitary linen and towels for the entire hotel. The laundry attendant will follow established laundry procedures to provide an outstanding guest experience.

This is a Full-Time (5 days per week) position working 10:00am - 6:00pm. Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Starting Rate: $17.60/hr. - $18.50/hr. depending upon experience!

Weekends include a $3 extra per hour shift premium!

Areas of responsibility for our Laundry Attendants include:

• Providing a constant supply of clean linens for the entire hotel.
• Maintaining a clean and safe laundry room.
• Loading and operating commercial washers and dryers per established procedures.
• Recording counts for discarded linens.
• Folding and distributing towels and linens.
• Washing all towels and linens in accordance to company standards.
• Pre-sorting linens and treating stains.
• Stocking linen storage rooms as assigned.
• Responding to guest requests and inquiries.

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Reading, math, and communication skills.
• Availability to work holidays and weekends is required.
• The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
• Adhere to brand and company standards.
