Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival. Manage the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table that best serves their withes. Help provide seamless service between initial greeting and the server experience. You will take reservations and To Go orders on the telephone.

• Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
• Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
• Take to go orders according to Restaurants guidelines
• Introducing guests to their server
• Seat guests while balancing the flow of service as to not overload one particular area
• Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
• Take reservations according to Restaurants guidelines.
• Keep managers aware of any problems/complaints
• Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations
• Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner
• Help in clearing, cleaning and resetting tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions for an extended period of time (5 hours)
• Must have exceptional grooming habits
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers in English
