As a home inspector, you will play a vital role in helping homeowners and buyers understand the condition of their properties and make informed decisions. Responsibilities:
- Communicate inspection results and recommendations to clients in a professional and informative manner.
- Conduct comprehensive home inspections in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Identify and document any issues, defects, or safety concerns observed during inspections.
- Inspect various components of residential properties, including structural elements, electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and more.
- Prepare detailed reports that outline inspection findings and provide recommendations for repairs or further evaluations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the highest quality of service.
Requirements:
- Availability to work on a part-time basis, including weekends.
- Knowledge of residential construction, building codes, and home systems is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues or defects.
- Previous experience as a home inspector or in a construction related field is preferred but not required.
- Must have basic home inspection tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Available for ongoing training and skills improvement.
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to generate accurate and professional reports with Spectora software.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
