AHC - Home Health Silver Spring

Adventist HealthCare is hiring a Full Time Home Health Aide in Montgomery County, Maryland and Prince George's County, Maryland who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Home Health Aide you will:
  • Documents care provided to meet regulatory requirements in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Completes continuing education and competency requirements within designated time frames as specified by Medicare conditions of participation
  • Provides excellent personal care to patients to maximize satisfaction according to Aide Plan of Care
  • Maintains safe environment in patient’s home
  • Assists with rising patient care needs
  • Consults with professional staff on patient problems and is involved with long and short-term goals that are consistent with organization’s vision, mission, values and goals
  • Manages visiting caseload productivity within the appropriate expected time frame

Qualifications Include:
  • Valid driver’s license with agency insurance requirements
  • CNAs with a year or more of experience after certification required
  • One year of hands on experience in acute or long term care
  • Valid Maryland Board of Nursing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Valid American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification

Tobacco and Drug Statement
