As the Administrative Assistant in our Home Care Department, you will assist the Home Care Administrator with important daily tasks to help the department run smoothly and efficiently. A day in the life of the Admin Assistant includes activities such as invoicing, scheduling, communication with insurance companies, document management, payroll assistance, write and update service plans, inventory control, communication with families and caregivers, perform caregiver duties when needed, caregiver billing, answering phones, assisting with sales inquiries, email, fax, and other general office duties.

• Good public relation skills; ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, volunteers, staff, and the general public
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent/ be able to read, write, and speak English
• Employee Assistance Program
• 2+ years experience in similar role preferred
• Be willing to obtain CPR/FirstAid Certification
• Must be organized, detail conscious and self-initiating, ability to communicate

• Proficient computer skills; strong knowledge of Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook
