This is a remote position.
What does ACT Safety Solutions do? We provide industrial safety training, auditing, & consulting services for businesses of all sizes. Our OSHA/IVES certified trainer can train & verify your employees on Powered Industrial Trucks and Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP's) as well as offering classes in Fall Protection and Overhead Bridge Crane safety. We can help you create a safety program that meets federal & state requirements or just help you beef up your existing program. With 14 years of experience as an Industrial Safety expert & an extensive collection of certifications and endorsements, we can solve just about any safety issues your company may have.
We’re looking for Data Entry Typist to work in our office. We need someone who is accurate and fast typist.
Data Entry Typist Duties
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, supporting a positive work environment
  • Develop reports
  • Perform quality data entry, maintaining the integrity of all documents and information
  • Update, analyze, and process information as needed
  • Greet coworkers, customers, and visitors
  • Work as a team player
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences
  • Organize files in an organized and systematic manner
Data Entry Typist Responsibilities
  • Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts
  • Possess a basic knowledge of computers including basic troubleshooting, Windows installation, Windows updates, and driver installation
  • Strong typing skills
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts and drawings
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs
Requirements
Requirements And Skills:
  • Enter and sort invoices, receipts, and timesheets
  • Follow directions and work plan
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets
  • Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and managers
  • Maintain electronic filing systems and/or hard copy records
  • Discuss issues of concern
  • Create and maintain expense reports and expense codes for documents, invoices, and receipts
  • Enters data on spreadsheets, databases, and websites
  • Create and maintain databases
  • Generate reports using appropriate software, including creating tables, sorting, and exporting
  • Perform other clerical tasks
  • Accurately complete cost, project, and time entries
  • Attend and participate in daily meetings
  • Maintain and update databases
  • Participate in on-the-job training and special projects as needed
  • Verify and type data, following company procedures and guidelines
