Job Description
Health Advocates Network is hiring a


**Histology Technician**


with


  • 1 year of recent experience** ! This is a full-time travel contract position (must be 50 miles away) at a nationally recognized hospital located in


**Hartford, CT.**


**Candidate MUST reside at least 50 miles away.**

**Pay Rate: $2,194.20 weekly**


(based on 40hours per week)

**Shift: 5**


days x 8 hours (4:00PM - 12:30AM)

Contract Length


13 weeks


+


COVID Vaccine


Required – no exemptions


Histology Technician Qualification And Requirements


  • HT ASCP required or be eligible to take and successfully pass the exam within one (1) year of employment.
  • Additional certifications may be required.
  • 1
  • Years’ experience as a Histology Technician
  • Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Histotechnician program within the last 5 years, or at least 60 semester hours (90 quarter hours) of academic credit from a regionally accredited college/university
  • Must be a Registered Histology Technician (ASCP)
  • Must have experience in the following areas: Fixation, Microtomy, and Processing.
  • American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers
