Job Description

Church of the Highlands is recruiting for an experienced and capable Project Manager to join the Creative Team. The role will lead and manage organizational-wide efforts from the Design and Print division of the Creative Team. This position will work closely with Creative Directors, team members and managers to execute projects to support Highlands' services, conferences and departmental needs, as well as projects for marketing, website, and special events.


Knowledge and Ability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Highly self motivated with the ability to drive projects to completion
  • Ability to work as a team player and discuss needs, challenges and ideas
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Proactive and self directed
  • Experience managing multiple projects, timelines and details while keeping multiple team members on schedule and meeting deadlines


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records on Creative projects
  • Research, develop and implement strategies for healthy and effective team communications and project management
  • Create systematic and organizational processes regarding timelines, goals, revision, history and content delivery
  • Provide assistance for staff-wide emails, draft creative briefs and prepare communications on the Creative Pastor's behalf
  • Prepare reports for data collection, coordination and final copy preparation
  • Organize meetings and scheduling
