Secondary Math TeacherNorthfield Middle High School, located in the Paine Mountain School District, is committed to providing equitable and inclusive educational opportunities founded on the fundamental values of courage, compassion, and curiosity. We believe that creating an environment that promotes a sense of belonging among students and educators is the foundation on which life-long learning, collaboration, innovation, community engagement, and citizenship are built. We strive to create universal systems of learning and personal development within our students and staff by way of experiential learning opportunities, restorative practices, student and staff voice, and wellness. Our ideal secondary math teacher would be flexible, creative, and committed to equitable education with knowledge and understanding of: - Social emotional needs of high school students- National Standards- Evidence based instructional approaches- Data informed differentiated instruction- Formative and summative assessments in proficiency based system- Collaboration within a grade cluster team structure- Cultural competency
