Healthy Minds Alliance - 988 Crisis Worker (Pt, Remote)

The Healthy Minds Alliance is an innovative AmeriCorps program that takes a community-based approach to the mental health crisis by utilizing evidence-based/ informed programs in diverse communities across the nation. There is a sense of urgency in our nation to improve awareness, recognition, and ability to respond to the needs of those experiencing symptoms of mental illness. Healthy Minds Alliance places AmeriCorps members at local crisis call centers across the nation after the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline shifted to the 3-digit number 988. During their one-year service term, AmeriCorps Members are trained in the mental health intervention identified by the local crisis call center. Note: Currently seeking a part-time AmeriCorps member for the following shifts: 1. 12 pm - 4 pm, 5 days per week OR 2. 4 pm - 8 pm, 5 days per week OR 3. 8 pm - 4 am, 3 days per week Members are required to serve part-time (20 hours per week for 10 months).
