We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Remote Healthcare Call Center Representatives for Benefits Verification. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the confidentiality and accuracy of patient and prescription information while adhering to HIPAA regulations. As a key member of our team, you will also support Compliance and Persistency Programs, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide concise patient and prescription information following HIPAA guidelines from various sources.
Maintain and uphold the integrity of Prescription Records to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling Protected Health Information.
Assist with Compliance and Persistency Programs.
Handle customer requests for Protected Health Information, responding to various entities within specified timeframes while complying with HIPAA requirements.
Process requested information using the Accounting & Disclosure System.
Offer phone support for Prescription Records and Compliance, addressing customer and requester inquiries promptly.
Respond to customer and requester emails related to prescription record requests and status checks.
Experience And Qualifications
Previous experience in a high-volume call center or fast-paced customer service environment is advantageous.
Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
Ability to excel in a high-volume, time-sensitive setting.
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work independently.
Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with the capacity to quickly grasp internal software applications.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
