We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Head of Technology to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of skilled technologists, and to drive the technological vision of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects and technological resources of the organization for the purpose of organizational growth. They will establish a technological vision for the organization and lead the company's technological development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the appropriate departments to assess and recommend technologies that support company organizational needs.
• Direct and organize IT-related projects.
• Develop the company's strategy for using technological resources.
• Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage.
• Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors.
• Ensure technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely.
• Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.
• Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
• Evaluate and implement new systems and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in strategic technology planning, execution, and policy development.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus.
• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.
• Proficiency in .NET, JavaScript framework, React or equivalent is required.
• Problem-solving aptitude.
• Understanding of budgets and business-planning.
• Proven experience as a Head of Technology, CTO or similar leadership role.
• Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Leadership and organizational abilities.
• Strategic thinking.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology leadership role.
