We are looking for a Head of Supply Chain Management to develop FLS business for delivering quality product, on time, from all over the world.


About The Department


We are looking for Head of Supply Chain Management. This leader will report to Vice President, Procurement, Products Business Line. You will lead a global team of Supply Chain Managers. You will work closely with other stakeholders of Strategic Sourcing managers, Supplier Quality Manager, Purchasing Manager, Logistics Manager within Procurement and also with IOD-Project managers and Engineering department to refine and manage Supply Chain activities in delivering quality product on time. You will be managing teams in multiple global locations, with frequent online meetings, at various times, to accommodate our global structure. This will include periodic travel.

Your Responsibilities


  • Promote a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities.
  • Manage and drive the execution of the procurement phase of the contract to ensure that all project deliverables are met.
  • Manage and develop the global supply chain managers and the local capital supply chain teams.
  • Establish, meet and report KPI’s of supply chain management.
  • Trouble shooting with global suppliers on the issues of delivery, quality, and warranty issues.
  • Review financial performance and progress of the equipment portion of the contract.
  • Actively engage in negotiating and securing the long lead items.
  • Collaborate with IOD in addressing contract execution issues.
  • Engage with business unit management (IODs), on strategic, as well as tactical procurement -related matters, to ensure right and timely involvement.
  • Approves & drives purchasing of all equipment deliverables as per contract requirement.
  • Mitigate execution risks by planning, prioritizing, and actively managing suppliers.
  • Responsible for Supply Chain Management of all contracts.


What You Bring


  • Knowledge of mining products such as mills, crushers, thickeners, filters, flotation cells etc.
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of global supply chain experience in a multinational engineering and manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of managing large mining global product contracts.
  • Experience with global supply base for large castings and steel fabrications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from reputable University.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and inter-personal skills enabling you to perform in different cultures and at all organizational/seniority levels, including a well-honed ability to use digital tools to formulate/deliver your message.
  • Perseverance and an ability to prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines.
