Become a part of the Kamstrup North America Water Division Marketing Team.

As Head of Marketing, it is your responsibility to understand the market, its key stakeholders, and develop the annual marketing plan in close cooperation with Global Marketing and North American Management. You will execute the marketing plan to secure fulfillment of North American marketing objectives, and monitor and measure performance of the various initiatives to capture learnings and drive continuous improvements.



What you’ll be doing more specifically:

  • Secure usage of group and local suppliers and obtain approval from VP Marketing when needed
  • Develop customer success stories and local content for marketing campaigns with a primary focus on digital marketing to engage customers and partners through their journeys
  • Participate in the development of global campaigns and programs, and adapt to the North American market
  • Support the launch of new products for the North American market by creating the local marketing launch plan and executing it
  • Become an expert on the market, key stakeholders, decision-makers, and their preferences while observing the behavior of other industry players and the dynamics in the market
  • Report market intelligence insight for North America to Sales Management and Product Management in close cooperation with Global Market Intelligence
  • Maintain and develop the Kamstrup brand in North America in cooperation with Global Marketing
  • Drive and support channel marketing – with a focus on marketing deliverables and the onboarding of new partners in the local market
  • Contribute to the Annual Global Marketing Planning Process and develop a strategic marketing plan for North America in close cooperation with Global Marketing and local leadership
  • Secure Kamstrup’s online presence in North America – including developing content for the local version of Kamstrup.com in cooperation with Global Marketing
  • Build, coach, and lead a local team of marketing professionals in alignment with Global Marketing
  • Execute activities in the marketing plan in cooperation with Global Marketing and North American Sales Management and Product Management
  • Drive usage of CRM as a tool to collect customer and partner insights as well as to run targeted marketing campaigns and sales enablement activities




What We Expect from You

Your Work Experience & Education:

  • Structured planning and budget management skills with an ROI-driven mindset
  • Strong business and financial acumen with an understanding of key drivers of profitability and the impact of marketing decisions
  • Ability to build, refine, or further develop marketing processes in collaboration with Global Marketing to increase efficiency and scalability of the Marketing Operation Model
  • 1+ years of experience in a related role; Projects within the utility industry are preferred but not required
  • Enjoy working in a team environment with peers across the US and Europe
  • Quick learner and able to adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of CRM, Marketing Automation, Content Management, and Customer Journeys is a plus
  • Team leadership experience
  • Proven track record of identifying sales opportunities with a combination of marketing activities – with a strong digital focus
  • Master’s degree or MBA is a plus
  • Min. 5 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably within a global matrixed business environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field
