POSITION SUMMARY
The Head Golf Professional provides golf instruction, clinics, golf schools, and player development programs for all customer segments. This position will also meet, greet, and welcome prospective customers/patrons of the golf course. They will assist in creating an innovative tournament schedule and golf activities program that services all customer segments.
This is a part-time/seasonal position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Play golf with customers/patrons of all skill levels as time and duties permit
  • Attends, as invited, committee/staff/public meetings representing the facility
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the Golf Course Superintendent and other campus partners
  • Assist in creating an innovative tournament schedule and golf activities program that services all customer segments
  • Provide golf instruction, clinics, golf schools, and player development programs for all customer segments
  • Meet, greet, and welcome prospective customers/patrons

Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations

  • Strong individual efficiency
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Strong planning and organizing skills
  • One year or more of work experience

  • Level 2 PGA Apprentice or Equal
