Oak Creek Golf Club

Nestled in the shadows of our Nation’s Capital, this Ault Clark masterpiece is the jewel of the Oak Creek community. Nearing 7,000 yards from the championship tees, our 18-hole championship course was designed to beckon the experienced and novice golfer alike.

Golf At Oak Creek

Oak Creek Golf Club, an original Ault, Clark & Associates design, opened as a private country club in the early 2000’s. In 2013, Toll Golf acquired the club and redesigned the course as a more golfer-friendly public course. After two years of renovations, including a new clubhouse, the new Oak Creek was opened Memorial Day weekend in 2015. The club shares the grounds with the historic Bowieville Manor, built-in 1820. An old tobacco barn still stands on the 4th hole and allows golfers to drive thru the historic structure on the way to the fairway. Oak Creek is known for its plush bermudagrass fairways and undulating bentgrass greens. There are six different tee boxes from 4500 to 7000 yards that provide a challenge to everyone from the beginner to the most accomplished players.

Job Summary

The Head Golf Pro is responsible for promoting the game of golf through operational structure and programming that provides a first class environment for Members and guests. The Head Golf Pro develops all golf operations department budgets including forecasts to see that all financial goals are met.

Day-to-Day

• Develop aggressive Golf revenue sales, marketing, and net revenue plans.
• Responsible for all golf operations at the Club, including, golf carts, bag room, locker room, golf shop, special tournaments, and Member/Guest events.
• Acute understanding of the critical role that Membership and exceeding expectations play regarding the success of the operation.
• Responsible for hiring, training, and developing all staff.
• Direct successful implementations by following established Invited budgeting and revenue guidelines.

About You

• Experience with tee sheets and inventory systems.
• College degree preferred.
• PGA/LPGA Profession Certification completion.
• Comprehensive knowledge of expense control as it relates to payroll and the forecasting and budgeting of expenses.
• Diplomatic team player able to foster relationships with Members, Employee Partners and Guests.
• Proven track record of team management, organizational and coaching skills.
