OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
  • Contribute to servinig more patients, as well as supporting donors and employees, by delivering high-quality facilities management services and projects for plasma centers and testing labs.
  • Contribute to annual strategic imperatives by managing budgets, collaborating with stakeholders, and maintaining business continuity.
  • Transform the business through innovation, continuous improvement, and analytics.
Accountabilities
  • Management of stakeholder relationships with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Quality, Security, EHS, Sustainability, and Market Expansion, to achieve a high level of stakeholder and donor satisfaction.
  • Leadership of an organization accountable for facilities management and business continuity at BioLife testing labs and plasma centers located throughout the United States.
  • Leadership of an engaged, productive, innovative, and ethical team that is aligned to annual strategic imperatives.
  • Oversight of vendors for an outsourced integrated facilities management provider, HVAC & refrigeration program, emergency freezer program, utility bill management, as well as other strategic vendors.
  • Management of multiple annual budgets, including integrated facilities management, stategic asset replacement, and miscellaneous functional support.

  • Experience with managing positive relationships with mulitple company-wide stakeholders, including recurring meeitngs and communication.

  • Proficiency with directly or indirectly managing vendors to achieve budget expectations and quality services, primarily with outsourced integrated facilities managment companies, but also with critical equipment suppliers, utility payment vendors, uniform suppliers, emergecy response vendors, waste and hazardous waste management companies, and other repair/maintenance vendors.
  • Disaster/crisis preparation, response, and recovery
  • Capabilities with leading through change and transformation while maintaining productivity.
  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to drive stategic insights and improvements.
  • Experience with integrated facilities management functions, including
  • Ability to manage and work in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration equipment services.
  • Proficiency with managing constructive vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency with thought leadership and introducing new ideas to optimize and transform the business.
  • Capabilities with developing stategic insights and improvements from data and analytics.
  • Reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance
  • Experience with maintaining operational continuity for critical equipment and facilities.
  • Experience with continuous improvement to lead strategic change and program enhancements, as well as incremental value to the organization.
  • Knowledge of operating in a healthcare, pharma, and/or critical environment.
  • Ability to introduce or implement strategic operational decisions to meet budgets.
