We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated program manager to lead our Microsoft hardware fulfillment process. We are looking for an innovative PM who will challenge the status quo of how work gets done. This position will work across organizational product and system teams. These teams deliver value in optimizing key customer workloads across the full system stack from pre-silicon simulation and firmware up to orchestration and application frameworks. This role ensures these teams have the hardware they need to achieve their goals.
What you will be doing:
You will be responsible for developing the methodologies for managing the hardware orders and monitoring process, to support the software feature and enablement for Microsoft ecosystem.
- Understand and track hardware order windows following PXT and PSXT roadmap requirements
- Collect demand and manage hardware allocation for Internal and External MSFT partners
- Partner with planning and engineering teams to understand hardware needs and develop and maintain demand models
- Manages the project hardware deliverables and milestones, drives creation and execution of the program Plan of Record, including scope, schedule, and resources, tracks and monitors hardware to ensure successful deployment of software features
- Enter and track the demand and arbitrate priority when needed
- Responsible for stakeholder management, including coordination of departmental or cross-functional cross-organizational teams as well as communication within the organization, outward to other internal groups and external customer
- Manage budget/approvals across the organization and with hardware suppliers
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline and 6+ years of relevant work experience; OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline and 4+ years of relevant work experience; OR PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline and 2+ years of relevant work experience in the following:
- This position is not eligible for an Intel immigration sponsorship
- Managing technical programs and delivering complex systems, consisting of Silicon, Hardware and Software products
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Jira and modern development tools
- Leadership examples in transformation of teams and execution
- Creative problem solving; innovative thinker; transformational mindset, how can we do this better?
- Demonstrated competency with Agile and DevOps methodologies, certification a plus
- Preferred PMP or equivalent certification
- Team first mindset
- Fluent in program management methodology and techniques
- Stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels including senior leaders, peers, and external partners.
- Demonstrated competency with various reporting models
- Highly organized and detail-oriented to manage multiple demands across multiple stakeholders
- Effectively manage against tight deadlines and competing priorities
- Prior experience in HW engineering and program management
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence without authority across diverse audiences.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $118,860.00-$196,720.00
- Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
