Join ECS as a Virtual Customer Support Agent and become part of a dynamic and growing team. As an ECS Virtual Support Agent, you'll have the opportunity to provide excellent customer service from the comfort of your own home. With ECS, you can choose from a variety of clients and support levels, including coordinating roadside assistance, helping customers navigate tax company websites, and assisting individuals in scheduling medical appointments.
At ECS, we value professionalism and relatable personalities, and we strive to deliver world-class customer service. We offer flexible hours and 100% autonomy, allowing you to create a schedule that suits your needs, as long as you meet the minimum commitment. With full-time base pay ranging from $10 to $14.25 per hour (for 40 hours or more per week) and part-time income ranging from $7.25 to $13 per hour (for 25 - 39 hours per week), there are opportunities for financial growth. Additionally, we provide bonuses and incentives based on hours worked, with the potential to earn between $23,000 and $40,000 per year.
As part of the ECS family, you'll have access to growth opportunities as we rapidly expand, and we prioritize promoting from within. This independent contractor 1099 position allows you to work remotely, providing convenience and flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in training and certification courses
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly attitude
- Answer inbound phone calls, video calls, and/or live chats using your home computer
- Commit to and fulfill a minimum of 25 hours per week
- Be accountable for the hours you commit to working
Qualifications:
Standard Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Customer experience preferred but not required
- Quiet and dedicated workspace with a desktop or laptop, headset, and reliable wired high-speed internet connection
- Professionalism with strong typing, communication, and computer skills
- Proficiency in spelling and grammar rules
- Willingness to undergo a standard background check, drug test, technology check, and voice assessment
- Strong work ethic and dedication to achieving high customer satisfaction ratings
- Articulate with excellent command of the English language
- 18 years old or older with a high school degree or equivalent
- Authorized to work in the US and reside in the US
- Not eligible for residents of Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Washington, DC, and Wisconsin
- Access to a smartphone for system verification
Technical Requirements:
- Dual-Core 2.8 GHz CPU speed or better (Intel i5 or i7 class or AMD Phenom Ryzen or equivalent processor)
- Hard drive with minimum available space of 20 GB and total space of 60 GB
- Minimum internet download speed of 10 Mbps and upload speed of 3 Mbps
- Maximum network latency of 120 ms
- Windows 10 (64-bit) operating system
- Minimum 4 GB RAM
- Desktop or laptop with an Ethernet cable connected to your computer from your router or modem
- Incompatible devices include Netbooks, tablets, all-in-one computers, and Mac machines
