Job Description

We are working with our client FMI, a Spirit AeroSystems Company, in seeking a 2nd shift Hand Weaver to be based in their Biddeford, Maine location.


Requirements of the Hand Weaver:

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Basic math aptitude
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. clearance
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Production experience a plus

Responsibilities of the Hand Weaver:

  • Performs repetitive hand weaving tasks using tools and applying force to weaving fixtures.
  • Learns innovative and technical processes for handweaving carbon fiber materials.
  • Works with a partner in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Inspects products to ensure that specifications are met.
