This job contributes to Starbucks success by advancing work on strategic initiatives critical to the company. You will partner with broad cross functional and global teams to support end-to-end development and execution of strategic initiatives for our beverage business at Starbucks.
As a group manager you will…
  • Working in an entrepreneurial fashion, to quickly build the strategy, project roadmap and subsequently drive flawless execution of key strategic initiatives at Starbucks.
  • Lead the launch and global rollout of the Oleato™ platform, working with team leads around the world to support new market launches, driving platform, operational & brand consistency
  • Coach and develop a lean, entrepreneurially minded team of partners including developing clear, compelling and shared goals
  • Develop a clear long-term brand strategy to subsequently drive development of channel strategies and a global roadmap of innovation across multiple categories including beverage, food and RTD
  • Collaborate with global teams to define and implement an Oleato™ “Rhythm-of-the-Business” resulting in business performance, operational learnings and customer insights being leveraged on a global scale
  • Partner with operations leadership to develop, implement and optimize a robust and flexible partner engagement plan
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders across the organization to develop and advance key success metrics for Oleato™ and other strategic initiatives.
Summary Of Experience
  • 8 or more years of experience in a role supporting marketing, brand management or product management
  • Ideal but not required: Experience working in a small company, start up environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 or more years of US military experience

  • Experience managing others
  • Delivers recommendations that demonstrate cross-functional strategic thinking
  • The ability to identify and secure organizational support
  • Solid business acumen and experience building and aligning cross-functional business cases creation and alignment
  • Models how to partner with cross-functional groups toward a common goal
  • Able to work in a flexible and nimble way to drive results
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit
