Job Description
2023 Winston-Salem Dash Grounds Crew
The Winston-Salem Dash is the High-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox and are searching for highly motivated individuals to join our Grounds Crew.
  • Expected End Date – September, 3rd (possible post-season games)
  • Expected Start Date – April, 11th
  • Compensation – Hourly (Rate TBD)
  • Reports To – Head Groundskeeper

This position is a seasonal part-time position that will operate mostly for Dash home games, but could also include events such as High School and College baseball games, etc.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Paint foul lines/batter’s boxes, repairing pitcher’s mound, Homeplate, and bullpen areas, as well as assisting in grooming infield dirt and warning track
  • Assist in preparing the field for game day or events
  • Assist with field tarp and weather-related situations
  • Other on-field events

Qualifications
  • Preferred experience in Baseball, but not required
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Available to work weekends, holidays, and nights based on schedule
