We anticipate the need for one or more Groundman to join our team in supporting electric overhead and underground construction in the Metro West area of Minnesota (Maple Grove, Edina, Minneapolis, Shorewood and Waconia). This position has a Graduate Wage Scale starting at $25.02 hourly. This position will be posted for 5 days from April 11th, 2023 to April 15th, 2023.

Summary

Successful candidate will perform all duties of the Groundman classification, which involves various electric line construction and maintenance responsibilities.

Required

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and meet all of the following criteria:

• Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Work experience operating construction equipment.
• Highly developed mechanical ability.
• Must be able to respond to after hours call out, both weekends and evenings.
• Completion of an accredited Lineman program or Xcel Energy equivalent.
• High commitment to Safety.
• Must be willing to participate in written and hands on assessments
• Must be in excellent physical condition and be able to operate a 90 lb. jackhammer.
• Possess Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
