Job Description
SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for a Graphics Designer II to join our team! The right candidate will be responsible for planning, filming, and editing videos that could be used for a variety of projects and customer marketing materials.


Responsibilities


  • Video editing and narration.
  • Creating test event documentation.
  • Primary responsibilities include video and image capture, still and action.


Required Skills & Experience: The videographer must be creative, passionate about creating stories or messages through film and video (along with editing film and video) and have an eye for detail. They also need to have good communication skills, and the ability to provide direction.


Additional Requirements


  • Due to the requirements in the Safer Federal Workforce Taskforce guidance and the nature of our covered contracts and facilities, all employees may need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a legal exemption with approved accommodation.


Preferred Skills & Experience: Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud; Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, Animation and Illustration, and have a wholisitc understanding of filmmaking.


Employee type: PART TIME ON CALL


Education: Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts field or relevant work experience.


Minimum Clearance


Travel (if applicable): 25% - Travel to test event locations for the purpose of capturing data
