Description

The graphic designer is responsible for concepting, production and execution of graphic design across multiple platforms for Human Resources. Must be able to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment that are on spec, on time and on brand.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with partners/project managers to ensure effective project completion
  • Ensure designs are in alignment with evolving brand standards and maintain brand consistency
  • Consistently meet project deadlines and maintain high level of work while handling multiple projects across multiple platforms
  • Partner with team members to create relevant, powerful graphic solutions to a variety of learning programs/materials including print, digital and special projects.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Experienced knowledge in graphic, pre- and post-production processes; maintain relationships with vendors
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team as well as work individually
  • Strong creative, organizational, problem solving and time-management skills
  • Demonstrates sophisticated aesthetic, technical skill and knowledge of current design trends
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and deadline-oriented environment with shifting priorities
  • Can-do attitude and ability to respond effectively and appropriately to creative feedback
  • Possess strong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, a broad problem solver who is able to offer a variety of design solutions
  • Adaptable and quick learner that seeks feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Strong understanding of design principles including composition, color and hierarchy of messaging, emphasizing the use of typography and photography in layout
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), as well as designing for execution within Microsoft platforms, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Education

  • Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, marketing or equivalent experience
