Summary - Graphic Designer - 5 days onsite in Greensboro, NC - 12 month contract

Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Graphic Designer for one of our clients based out of Greensboro, NC. This assignment is anticipated to be a 12-month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment. This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.

Join our client and contribute to the visual representation of their brand through compelling graphic designs.

Responsibilities:

• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.
• Maintain consistency in design across various platforms and deliverables.
• Create logos, emblems, signage, labels, icons, and other visual elements.
• Develop creative and high-quality graphic design solutions in line with brand identity and graphic guidelines.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Ensure that designs are visually appealing, impactful, and communicate the intended message effectively.
• Assist in the creation of merchandise designs, if applicable.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.

Skills:

• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Figma or other graphic design software.
• Proficient in graphic design principles, techniques, and tools.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Ability to create wireframes for landing pages is a bonus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience in UI/UX design is a plus.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Additional certifications or courses in design are desirable.
• Familiarity with DELL format/PC is a plus.
• Proficiency in Mac hardware and software is required.
• A portfolio showcasing detailed steps in previous work is required.
